Nordfit gives you many ways to fitness
Fitness training with Nordfit is never boring. Our trainers don’t only have the technical skills, certifications and experience needed for various forms of fitness training, but they are also chosen because of their intrapersonal skills and pro-active attitude, always placing you in the center.
Training is indeed serious stuff, and we are here to achieve results. But being repetitious and stone-faced is counter-productive to reaching those results.
Training with Nordfit means results AND fun. Seriously.

Individual Personal Training
This is our core and where we started back in 1996. But methods, aids, tools and knowledge have improved tremendously since then.
Our way of achieving results is through a truly individual approach. We start with an assessment of what your goals are for a given period. Building strength? Improve stamina? Slimming? A combination thereof?
Then we assess where you are today and perform a short test. Everything is recorded in your training book, so that you can follow your progress.
After that we develop an individualized training program, and then we are going.
We can perform individual personal training in your gym or elsewhere, indoors or outdoors, up to your liking. Contact us here to know more.

Boot Camp
Nordfit offers two boot camps, both highly effective group-training sessions outdoors in Repulse Bay and Middle Bay.
One is a 30-minutes High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) session, inspired by Turbulence Training. Here we work upper and lower body simultaneously and fiercely to build muscles and really burn fat.
The other is a 60-minutes Functional Boot Camp, Nordfit style. This program is designed to increase strength, agility, endurance and balance and aimed at improving your performance in tennis, squash, rugby and other sports.
These boot camps are very popular. However, we limit the group size to ten students per session to optimize personal attention and efficiency, so please book early by clicking here.

EMS Training
Nordfit has introduced EMS (Electric Muscle Stimulation) training to Hong Kong.
It’s well-known since over hundred years ago, that training combined with low-current electric impulses stimulating the muscle rapidly increases muscle growth, strength and speed.
Up to now, EMS training has been mostly used in medical rehab to speed up recovery after accidents or illness. But during the past years and in line with modern science, equipment has been developed for the fitness market.
The results are remarkable. The muscle growth and strength improvement from two 20-minutes EMS sessions per week equal that of five fierce rounds in the gym. Muscle contraction speed increases as well.

Yoga
Nordfit offers many yoga techniques. Hatha Yoga gives a good introduction to basic yoga poses, balancing mind and body with physical exercises, breathing, relaxation and meditation.
Back Care Yoga involves poses and techniques that strengthen back muscles
and help attaing a proper posture, preventing and resolvng back problems.
Sun Vinyasa offers postures that improve cardio strength, flexibility and the endurance to burn fat in a good yogic workout.
Yin Yoga targets the connective tissue of the hip, pelvis and lower spine, aiming at stimulating circulation in less lexible areas of the body.
Yin Yang Yoga involves deep stretching and hip opening and then moves on to powerful and dynamic movements, improving balance, strength and flexibility.

Martial Arts
Thanks to the breadth and versatility of Nordfit trainers, we are able to offer martial arts training for fitness purposes.
We are not aiming at teaching you how to become a master fighter in a ring or on a mat, but at reaping the benefits of martial arts training for strength, stamina, agility, reflexes and mental focus, but totally without the risk of injury.
As a general, martial artists get well-toned, balanced bodies with no extra weight of muscle or fat. In addition, they get excellent stamina and mental balance,
At the present, we offer boxing and Thai boxing. All under controlled forms and with the goal of increasingly improve on your fitness development goals.

Other sports
In addition to the above, and in line with our philosophy that fitness training should be effective AND fun, Nordfit also offer golf, tennis, rugby, football (soccer) and triathlon for fitness purposes.
If you want to become a new Woods or Nadal, then you should look elsewhere. But if you want an alternative or addition to your ordinary regime, and still with underlying fitness development to it, then this is for you.
On the court or the course we all play to win, obviously. But unlike your ordinary playing partners, we are also here to help you to improve.
And since we are certified instructors, who knows. Maybe we can actually show you a thing or two, to gain those 10 extra yards, or to shoot that additional serve ace that you need when you play with your friends later.

Special events
Occasionally we are asked to organize special events, to combine meaningful fitness training with a higher degree of relaxation from everyday chores. So, we offer full fitness weekend trips, to combine varied training, fun, relaxation and sightseeing.
A program may include gym training, boot camp, golf, tennis, swimming, hiking, boating, sightseeing, nice dinners and good accommodation in Hong Kong, Thailand or the Philippines.
As this is a special and tailor-made service, we don’t offer off-the-shelf packages. What we can guarantee is that you and your group will have an exceptional time and a unique experience in a new environment.

Training that gives results
Here is but one example of what goal oriented training with Nordfit can do. In 15 weeks, with 2-3 sessions per week, this client went from 102.5 kg to 84 kg (an 18 percent weight reduction).
He burnt away 13 percent body fat and gained 4.2 kg muscle mass. Moreover, he lowered his metabolic age with 12 years.
